Terms of Service

Last updated: July 21, 2026.

These Terms govern your use of Sea Otter (OpenCode Cloud), a managed workspace service operated on Google Cloud. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The service

We provide hosted OpenCode workspaces, a control plane dashboard, and related APIs. Features may change; availability is best-effort for Free tier.

2. Accounts and organizations

You must provide accurate account information and keep credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your organization, including API keys and BYOK provider credentials you store with us.

3. Acceptable use

You may not use the service to violate law, abuse infrastructure, scan or attack other systems, mine cryptocurrency, or interfere with other customers. We may suspend or terminate workspaces that threaten platform stability or security.

4. Billing

Paid plans are billed via Stripe (or Google Cloud Marketplace when enabled). Fees are charged in advance for the subscription period unless stated otherwise. Unused capacity does not roll over. You can cancel via the billing portal; access continues until the end of the paid period unless we suspend for abuse.

5. Customer data and secrets

Workspace filesystem data and secrets you provide remain your responsibility. We process them to operate the service. You must not store unlawful content. BYOK API keys are stored in Google Secret Manager and injected into your workspace.

6. Disclaimer

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS”. We do not warrant unbroken availability. We may delete free-tier paused workspaces after the published TTL.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising from the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim.
