Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 21, 2026.
Sea Otter (“we”) operates the managed OpenCode Cloud service at seaotter.dev. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.
1. Data we collect
- Account identity from our auth provider (Clerk): email, name, user id
- Organization and workspace metadata (names, plans, regions, status)
- Billing identifiers from Stripe (customer/subscription ids, invoices)
- Secrets you choose to store (BYOK keys) in Google Secret Manager
- Operational logs and metrics from Google Cloud (API, workers, GKE)
- Support emails you send to support@seaotter.dev
2. How we use data
We use data to authenticate you, provision workspaces, bill subscriptions, secure the platform, improve reliability, and respond to support requests. We do not sell personal data.
3. Processors
Core processors include Google Cloud Platform (hosting), Clerk (authentication), and Stripe (payments). Each processes data under their terms and our configuration.
4. Retention
Account and billing records are retained while your organization is active and for a reasonable period afterward for legal/accounting needs. Workspace disks for free paused workspaces may be deleted after the published TTL. Logs follow Google Cloud retention defaults unless configured otherwise.
5. Your rights
Contact support@seaotter.dev to request access, correction, or deletion of personal account data, subject to legal holds and backup retention.
